Unable to clone or duplicate desktop

This is a known issue on Windows 10 PCs which are running one of the third generation of Intel processors i.e. i3, i5 or i7 (code name Ivy Bridge) or the Atom processor (Bay Trail).
These processors have old graphics drivers which don't support the cloning feature.

One solution is to move to a PC which is not based on one of these processors.
An alternative is to use a third-party tool such as Actual Multiple Monitors to do the cloning for you.
