Disable the on-screen keyboard which sometimes appears on the tablet when using Windows 7

The easiest method for this is to turn off "Use Windows Ink" in the Wacom Tablet Properties control panel, restart the PC and check that it has worked.

If Windows Ink is needed, go to Tablet-PC Settings -> Tablet PC Input options -> Initialize and change the configuration so that the input panel is not shown.
